Hi there! My name is Grant MacDonald and no, my site has nothing to do with either Elvis or Paul Simon. But I do live in Graceland, or better said, "the land of Grace" that only Jesus provides. In other words, I'm a Christian.
My journey to this wondrous land wasn't by the most direct route possible, but then again, whose journey is? I grew up mostly in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, in a non-Christian home. As a teenager and young adult I was an agnostic and very anti-Christian. But, I had questions and I began my own "walkabout." I entered many dry lands, back roads and blind alleys. Often I became weary in my travels. Finally I found "the way, the truth, the Life" in Jesus.
Now I'm a fellow minister in the Keele Street Christian Church in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am married to an amazingly creative, supportive, loving wife, Sheila. We have three amazing boys -- John, David and Graham. Oh, yeah, there is also a cat, named Lucy, that sleeps and eats in our house.
I hope that this site will encourage you in some way. Above all, I hope it brings glory to Christ by contradicting the typical Christian stereotypes. Following Christ is a joyous, challenging, and fulfilling way to live, and the only way to die!
